Range of application in the FSJ

The ijgd are a recognised facilitator of the Voluntary Social Year and organise this in the states of Berlin, Brandenburg, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony-Anhalt and Schleswig-Holstein for the “Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband”. Volunteers work in a public service oriented social welfare institution.

Institutions where you can do a Voluntary Social Year

Volunteers can get involved in a number of various working fields such as care, housekeeping and supervision, both in the educational or cultural sector.
